To access this service, please telephone the practice and we will refer you to your chosen local pharmacy. They will contact you within a couple of hours to arrange for you to be seen or spoken to.

Do you need to have your blood pressure checked?

We have now installed a blood pressure machine in reception that allows you to check your own blood pressure with instructions on how to use it. Don’t worry if you need help; one of the receptionist will be happy to show you how simple it is to use.

You don’t need an appointment, just walk in and have a go!

The machine will print off a slip with your readings which you can give to the receptionists who will record this on your notes.

If you blood pressure is high or low, a clinician will review this and decide whether any further action is needed.
